English Language Learners and World Languages
We will continue to screen and enroll students in the appropriate manner to ensure the 10-school day rule is followed. Our process incorporates screening by District ELL staff, enrollment paperwork completed by the Central Registrar, communication from all District employees to ensure timely implementation.
ELL staff will utilize in-person and online instructional options through Schoology to meet the required minutes of instruction for all ELL students.
Our ELL staff will continue to have Open House events, virtually and/or in person to provide valuable information to parents/guardians. ELL staff will develop communication plans for each student based on parents preferred communication methods to ensure regular communication between home and school.
