Crisis Response Team

The Elmira City School District partners with the Glove House to provide students and families support to those experiencing trauma, grief or loss.

ECSD assists schools to prevent, prepare, respond, and recover from crises that affect the school population as a whole and individual students and their families. The Grief and Loss counseling team consists of licensed clinicians who are responsible for helping schools prepare, prevent and respond to situations involving a school-level crisis incident such as:

-Death of a staff member or student
-Suicide ideation, attempt, or completion
-Homicide ideation, attempt, or completion
-Abuse
-Incidents where administrators or school clinicians determine the need for additional assistance

>>Please contact your school counselor if you are in need of support.
