The HEARS family line assists parents and families by providing resources and referrals to a variety of services. Caring representatives guide families to services including food, clothing, housing, medical and behavioral health care services, parenting education and child care.
HEARS Family Line stands for Health, Empower, Advocate, Reassure and Support and is supported by the NYS Office of Child Welfare and Family Services.
They work weekdays 8:30-4:30 with no referral needed. They can make connections for families to access food, clothing, housing, medical, parenting, childcare and behavioral health services in the community.
