From January 28-31, 2020, the entire Elmira City School District will join the national Great Kindness Challenge – a week dedicated to creating a culture of kindness and compassion on campuses worldwide. Elmira schools are proudly participating in this proactive and positive kindness initiative. All students will receive The Great Kindness Challenge checklist and families are encouraged to participate with students to complete as many acts of kindness as possible.

ABOUT “The Great Kindness Challenge”
The Great Kindness Challenge is a proactive and positive bullying prevention initiative that improves school climate and increases student engagement. The Great Kindness Challenge is one week devoted to performing as many acts of kindness as possible on campus. Using the provided checklist of 50 kind acts, students accept the challenge and show the world that KINDNESS MATTERS!
