The New York State Education Department's Office of Special Education is hosting a Zoom training called "Understanding the IEP" for families of school-aged students with a disability.

This training will assist participants to gain a foundational understanding of the entire individualized education program (IEP) process, including but not limited to the Committee on Special Education (CSE), the roles and responsibilities of all parties, the various components of the IEP and the transition planning process.
