Express Shout-Out Goes To: Hillary J. Austin, Superintendent of Schools

On Friday December 8, The Chemung County Chamber of Commerce recognized our superintendent of schools, Hillary J. Austin at their annual awards dinner. Mrs. Austin was presented with the Athena award, a women’s leadership award that honors commitment to community, education and excellence.
The ATHENA Leadership award recognizes someone who:
-Has achieved the highest level of professional excellence.
-Contributes time and energy to improve the quality of life for others in the community.
-Actively assists others, particularly women, in realizing their full leadership potential.
